How to use Age-R Booster pro
Precautions for Use
The Medicube AGE-R Booster-Pro is a skincare device that uses advanced technologies such as microcurrents and electroporation to support skin health. To ensure safe and effective use , please read the following precautions and contraindications carefully:
- The device is suitable for all skin types. However, for sensitive skin , it is recommended to start with the lowest intensity level and limit use to 3-4 times per week .
- Do not use the device in combination with highly potent active ingredients such as retinol, AHA/BHA acids or high concentrations of vitamin C, as the electroporation function increases absorption and may cause skin irritation.
- It is recommended to perform a patch test on the entire face before application, especially for reactive or sensitive skin.
We advise against using AGE-R Booster-Pro if any of the following conditions apply:
Rosacea
facial psoriasis
Active cystic acne
Erythema
Pronounced skin sensitivity
Nerve-related disorders , including individuals with pacemakers or other implanted medical devices
The device has two main modes – microcurrent mode and derma-shot mode . Please note the following instructions when selecting the respective mode:
Microcurrent mode (green light & low voltage current): Not recommended for people with:
- Pronounced skin sensitivity
- Rosacea or erythema (since electrical stimulation can intensify redness)
- Nerve-related diseases or implanted medical devices, e.g. pacemakers
Derma-Shot mode (medium-frequency energy pulses): Use with caution in the following cases:
- Active cystic acne or psoriasis in the facial area (the deeper energy impulses can exacerbate inflammation)
- Very sensitive skin (possible discomfort or skin irritation)
- Nerve-related diseases
- Pregnant women or people with pre-existing medical conditions should consult a medical professional before using this device.
- If irritation, redness or discomfort occurs during use, discontinue use immediately and consult a dermatologist.
- Do not use the device on damaged, injured, or irritated skin.
